From business to crypto and offshore, we bring clarity to tax planning, confidence to filing, and determination to tax resolution.
If the IRS has filed a lien against your property, levied your bank accounts, or started garnishing your wages, timely action matters. We work directly with the IRS to negotiate release or reduction of liens and levies, halt wage garnishments, and put a plan in place to resolve the underlying balance — protecting your income and assets while you get back into compliance.
If you can't pay your full tax balance, you may qualify to settle for less through an Offer in Compromise, or resolve it over time with an installment agreement. We evaluate your financial situation, prepare a thorough and well-documented submission, and negotiate directly with the IRS to secure the most favorable resolution available to you.
Unfiled returns and years of back taxes can feel overwhelming, but the path back into compliance is more manageable than most people expect. We help non-filers catch up on missing returns, correct past errors, and resolve accumulated balances — including cryptocurrency and offshore reporting gaps — with a clear, step-by-step plan to bring your account current.
An IRS collection notice is not the end of the matter, and it is rarely as final as it sounds. What it does establish is a deadline, and most of the options available to you narrow the longer it sits unanswered. IRS collection follows an escalating sequence, and where you are in that sequence determines what is still available to you.
CP14, first balance due notice. The opening notice. Your options are widest here and the cost is lowest.
CP501, first reminder of a balance due. Still early, but interest and penalties are accruing.
CP503, second reminder of a balance due. The IRS has not heard from you. This is the point to respond.
CP504, notice of intent to levy. The IRS is signalling enforced collection and can take state tax refunds. Act now.
LT11, final notice of intent to levy and notice of your right to a hearing. The last notice before levy, and it carries your Collection Due Process appeal right. This one has a hard deadline. Do not let it pass.
Letter 3172, notice of federal tax lien filing and your right to a hearing. A lien has been filed and is now public record. It carries its own appeal right and its own deadline.
If you are holding a CP504, an LT11 or a Letter 3172, call us before you do anything else. The rights attached to those notices expire, and once they do, the options that remain are materially worse than the ones you had.
As an Enrolled Agent, we are federally licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS in any state, at every stage of examination, collection and appeal. Representation begins with Form 2848, Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative. Once it is filed, the IRS is required to direct correspondence to us as well as to you, and we can speak to the assigned revenue officer on your behalf. In practice this means you stop taking the calls.
We then pull your account transcripts to establish exactly what the IRS has on file: which years are open, what has been assessed, what has been paid, and where the collection statute stands. That transcript picture, rather than the notice in your mailbox, is what determines which resolutions are actually available to you. Only then do we recommend a path.
